CBD, CBG, CBN, & CBC.

CBD refers to Cannabidiol. It is derived directly from the hemp plant, related to the marijuana plant. It does not cause an intoxicating “high” like THC. According to WHO, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential. To date, there is no evidence of public health-related problems associated with the use of pure CBD. Proving that CBD is safe for consumption.

There are several benefits you can get from CBD, such as:

  • Reduction in Anxiety
  • Reduction in Pain and Inflammation
  • Benefits for Sleep
  • Reduction in Seizure
  • Non-intoxicating
  • Beneficial in treating Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Epilepsy and Multiple Sclerosis

CBG refers to Cannabigerol. It is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid very similar to CBD, though this compound interacts with your body through very different mechanisms than CBD.

According to recent studies, CBG acts as an agonist of the CB1 and CB2 receptors without causing any intoxicating effects. CBG may also act as a GABA reuptake inhibitor. This means that CBG may help in alleviating neuropathic pain and inflammatory pain.

The main benefits that are attained from consumption of CBG, include:

  • Digestive benefits
  • Reduction in Pain and Inflammation
  • Antibacterial benefits
  • Non-intoxicating

CBN refers to Cannabinol. It can only be derived from CBD through a chemical conversion. It is structurally very similar to THC as compared to CBD once it reaches its final form. CBN lacks the psychoactive effects of THC that could allow more patients to utilize it without fear of intoxication or impairment.

There are many potential benefits of using CBN, some of them are:

  • Neuroprotection
  • Antibacterial benefits
  • Sleep benefits
  • Non-intoxicating
  • Appetite-stimulation

CBC refers to Cannabichromene. It is a very new cannabinoid showing great potential as a medical supplement. When injected, its effects on the human body are very similar to CBD. The chemical structure of CBC is quite unique and offers it the capability to affect the body in a different way than CBD.

Based on recent research, CBC has a lot of potential in providing various benefits to the human body, such as:

  • Neuroprotection
  • Cancer benefits
  • Analgesic benefits
  • Non-intoxicating
  • Neuroregeneration

Delta, delta, delta.

Delta 8 THC means there are electrons in a slightly different position than on the Delta 9 THC, so Delta-8 interacts with receptors in a different way having slightly different results with toned down psycho-activity.

Delta-8 THC has proved itself to be very beneficial, it:

  • helps with nausea and vomiting
  • helps reduce stress related anxiety
  • increases desire and quantity to eat
  • provides pain relief and sedative
  • helps protect brain from stress, inflammation, and protein build up)
  • enhances memory by increasing acetylcholine in the brain

Delta 9 THC is the regular THC most people are familiar with cannabis and use different ways for administration to get into the body for a large range of medicinal benefits.

Delta-9 THC is possibly the most potent psychotropic cannabinoid and produces its intoxicating effects by interacting with the CB1 receptor in the human body. However, other isomers of THC do exist. Isomers are variations of molecules with identical chemical formulas but a distinct arrangement of atoms. Delta-8 THC is one such isomer of Delta-9 THC.

Delta-9 THC produces some therapeutic benefits which are beyond reasonable doubt. Thus, the effects on nausea/emesis due to cancer chemotherapy, as appetite promoter, on some painful conditions and on symptoms of multiple sclerosis are clearly demonstrated.

Delta-8 THC is a good option for patients who find Delta 9 THC doesn’t treat their nausea, lack of appetite, or anxiety as well as they would like. It can also be a good middle ground for patients who benefit from the psychoactive qualities of THC but find Delta 9 THC produces mental effects too intense or uncomfortable and CBD does not provide enough relief.

Delta-8 THC offers a more clear minded experience with less anxiety than Delta-9 THC. Some patients find that using a combination of Delta-9 THC and Delta 8 THC works better than using either alone. Similar to the synergistic relationship between THC and CBD.

Delta-8 THC increases energy and productivity and can also diminish the psychoactive effects of the Delta-9 THC.
